Dear LSYS players and families,

Here are a few pictures from Grace Church at Willow Valley’s India missions trip to the orphanage we support. Wow, the boys were thrilled with the 35 plus shirts and shorts we sent them. We also send shin guards and some socks, but as you may note, they chose not to wear them as to “get to playing.” The donated used cleats were sold here and the money sent along with church members to the 140 boy orphanage. Our team said that the idea to team up with Solanco was wonderful as having two team colors really got the excitement going. You can certainly see that in the pictures as well. One of the team members mentioned that cricket is big in India, so the uniforms will be used for that as well. The boys just whipped them off and on for each other to share and most gave no regard to size. It was pure joy for all involved in distributing the uniforms.


On behalf of our Church and our missions committee, I would like to thank the entire L-S Youth Soccer League for their involvement and give the challenge to other youth sports leagues to keep the generosity going. We appreciate you all. Thank you so much. Dee Manning
